Motion graphic animation created for Vleeshal, a museum for contemporary art in Middelburg (The Netherlands), for their exhibition The Directions.
My role involved animating the circular graphics that form the central element of the poster designed by graphic designer Nuno Beijinho.
Drawing inspiration from synesthesia, I developed an animation influenced by the ticking and clicking sounds of clockwork mechanisms. The aim was to give the text a feeling of weight and volume—making it seem as if it were part of a larger, functioning mechanism—and giving it a sense of being alive and tangible.
